Ganga Ki Utpatti
The Maha Kumbh Mela is a Hindu pilgrimage festival celebrated once in twenty five years. In 2025, the Kumbh Mela, hosted in Prayagraj, saw footfall of over 66,00,00,000. To mark the occasion the Ministry of culture commissioned a series of immersive art pieces to represent the cultural significance behind the occasion.
‘Ganga ki Utpatti’ or ‘Origin of Ganga’ is a virtual reality film, describing the mythology behind the arrival of Goddess Ganga on earth using narrative storytelling and spatial art. Viewers are transported into a mythic landscape where they witness the river's divine origins unfold around them.
I played the role of a creative director and created all of the art single handedly.
