BeatSync is a smartphone application designed to test romantic compatibility.

The application was created as an assignment for a course on the 'Visual elements of UI Design' by California Institute of the Arts. The brief was to design the interface of an application featuring a heartbeat monitor.

BeatSync uses the heartbeat monitor to compare the heart beats of two or more users. Synchronised heartbeats indicate a similar emotional state and equal investment in the interaction. This suggests the potential for a successful romantic relationship.
